A new study finds that LGBTQ+ youths ages 13 to 24 who experiene homelessness or hunger — around 1 in 10 of whom are Black — are far more likely to consider or commit suicide than others who have stable housing. The finding by The Trevor Project comes as the Trump administration considers cutting funding to a 988 suicide hotline dedicated to gay, queer and trans youth.
